HPT GGGWolf stood at full attention and waited for the LT-COL to
acknowledge him and the PFC he had been ordered to drag into the office.
LT- COL Ferrous Idaho scrambled around his desk draws looking for a box
that seemed to have just vanished. When he found the small black box
with the Skye Rangers emblem embossed into it his demeanor changed and
he positively glowed.
"It is good to have you back on board GGGWolf in the role of recruitment
officer and I know you will find a suitable SenSGM for us soon. With
that responsibility I have had you reinstated you to the line regiments
and return your CCOM status to you." The HPT snapped a salute and
Ferrous returned in kind.
"This little beauty is for you PFC Obtineret." Ferrous opened the box
revealing Corporals Hunter's Point and handed the box over. "Good to see
you making improvements CP Obtineret." Shakily the Corporal saluted,
careful not to drop his new pins.
Ferrous dismissed them both with a wave and returned to his datapad in
an attempt to find suitable deployments for his MechWarriors.
It is time for our quarterly (roughly) RCOM meeting. The meeting will be in our TS channel and is scheduled for FRI 6.27.14 @ 9-10 PM Eastern.
As I have just advised the Brigade Command and RCOMs via email, this is going to be more of an open format meeting, as I want to have a free and open/frank discussion "with the troops" on their perceptions of the SR, the future of the SR, activities we want to pursue, state of the MW games, suggestions for recruitment and command positions, etc. etc.
As such, there is no planned agenda and we will use a moderator type format where I will call on folks one at a time to offer their suggestions/comments and to keep the meeting from getting (too) off track. But I will also commit to limiting the meeting to an hour - hour and a half.
So, bring some of your ideas and be prepared to think outside the box a little! :)
p.s. (06.25.14) - Regular RCOM reports won't be required for this meeting, unless any of the RCOMs have particularly important news updates.
Okay boys and girls of the Brigade. We face a new enemy and to effectively combat this enemy we need intel. And here is what your QMR needs to assist you in defeating this new threat.
Simply put I do not have the time to search so if any of you come across links with information on the Clan mechs I would appreciate you dropping me a PM with the link. I also find myself in need of images of the clan mechs. Preferably high resolution in the Mech bay is perfectly fine. Id like the mechs in their basic configs and colors. You can upload them to the Image gallery mech bay section. Just let me know you put them up.

Holding down the fire key no longer auto-fires UAC shots, you must release the fire key and explicitly press it again to fire all your shots. Bug Fixes

You kids with your newfangled toys! Back in my day, we had to push the AC grenades into the enemy armor by mech-hand! Our cockpits never went below 40° Celsius and our lasers went PEEEWW instead of pewpewpewpewpew!
Also important thing for those who didn't know. After this patch you can now take any mech from mechbay into training grounds with unsaved loadout. Bascially allowing you to try out different builds/skills without spending cbills/xp.
