Here is my weekly report for the 3rd Skye Rangers:

Well once again I am late and I am truly sorry for that. I understand that it is Wednesday and I am near a week and a half late, but work has been hectic and I have had no rest or time for my reports. I have been informed however by my other command (boss at work) that things will be calming down after this week. So prompt reports and the like are in the near future. Here is my weekly report for the 3rd Skye Rangers:

-I have made my server a dedicated and monitored recruiting server. I am currently trying to add a refreshing bot cycle to the server to put us on the top of the list a little more.
-I participated in the Message Board

as far as my regiment is concerned:

LANCE I

-MW/SSG Bane442/Lance I/Black Knight Kills:143 E-Mail: hunt@techisp.com

Has not been active in the kills department. I have received no correspondence from him as of the last 7 weeks. I would like to place Bane442 in the process of AWOL, thus starting week 4 of 4. I do CC this message and therefore I am aware of the fact that he is getting the chance to respond.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back a veteran Mechwarrior, our new BCOM of the 3rd's second Lance, Davis. Not only is he a veteran but I believe he was around with the newest conception of the Skye Rangers. I am glad he was chosen to be in the 3rd SR and I am proud to say he will make an excellent BCOM as well as an asset to the progression of our climb to the top. All of you should extend a warm welcome and get to know Davis's fighting strategies so that we can work together, In light of Davis being assigned to the BCOM of the 2nd Lance, Orion you need to now send your reports to him and he can then send them on to me. He is your BCOM and I expect you to respect him as much as you respect me. He wields the same amount of power over the 2nd Lance as I do over the 1st, so remember that. Davis again I welcome you and expect you to do well. I also expect a report from you every week in the prearranged format. Please E-Mail me any questions you may have. REGIMENT NEWS

* New member of the 4th, PFC Freeman. Welcome to the 4th SR, Freeman! We're looking forward to heading into battle along with you.

* New address for 4th SR Web site: http://home.comcast.net/~hullbreach/skye/4sr.html

* 4th SR unit practices are scheduled weekly at these times: 8:30 p.m. Eastern Thursday and 10 a.m. Eastern Sunday. I would like to get serious with these again. My dedicated-server computer is increasingly flaky; if/when I get around to reformatting, perhaps I will be able to offer a consistent server. Until then, 4th Rangers are encouraged to show up at our practice times and start a game if one is not running already.

* Roster status:

Gallows (Mercs kills: 2,833 [+66] ) -- Wednesday practice, Saturday practice (I didn't see anyone at Saturday's practice time). Saw fellow SRs only a couple of times in the past two weeks, although my playing time has been less, so I may have missed a lot. Otherwise, my activity has been: Fun with Ravens, Wolfhounds and long range Madcats.

Shadow (Mercs kills: 67 [+9] ) -- No contact.

Hunter (Mercs kills: 539 [+0] ) -- No contact.

Dragon (Mercs kills: 182 [+0] ) -- No contact.

Freeman (Mercs kills: 29 [+22] ) -- New SR member.

I would like to submit my request for "our long lost Padre" Jadua, to be considered for placement in the 3rd SR. If there is no change in Bane442's involvement I see us down to 3 total active members. I know the 10th SR needs help and I suggest sending Dragon back into leadership as their RCOM with the help of those there. That is if the current regiment is at ease with this appointment. Jadua and I have fought together on many occasions and are comfortable with each other's fighting styles. Please consider this request and act as you see fit. In your ever faithful service I stand.

* We gained a new member this week! Welcome back to SenSGM Dragon.

* 4th SR unit practices are scheduled weekly at these times: 8:30 p.m. Eastern Thursday and 10 a.m. Eastern Sunday.

* Roster status:

Gallows (Mercs kills: 2,767) -- Saturday and Thursday practices, lots of pickup matches throughout the week. I spent a lot of time experimenting with configurations using Thunderbolts, LRM20s and PPCs. Had some success, especially when using zoom targeting to get at jump-sniping BKs. Also dusted off a Shadowcat variant that I had forgotten about. Lost my Mercs disc 1 -- gaaaa! Still hope to find it, and am glad the game will launch from disc 2.

Shadow (Mercs kills: 67) -- Reported in, and engaged in pickup combat, showed up for Thursday night 4th practice, such as it was.

Hunter (Mercs kills: 539) -- Reported in, adding that return may be imminent as he finishes up his study season. Also looking for his Mercs discs!

Dragon (Mercs kills: 182) -- The SenSGM with the vicious Cauldron-born variants has returned to the Skye Rangers, and we are glad to have him in the 4th!

For most of this week I was tied up in the real world. We had a couple good practices and we have a challenge 2x2 Saturday. Cral has been real busy lately racking up kills, good job!
