Brigade/Skye Front Commander (SFC): The Skye Front Commander (SFC) is the owner, founder, and overall leader/manager of the Skye Rangers organization, as recognized by the InterNIC WWW site registration service and all applicable U.S. Copyright Laws. The Skye Front Commander (SFC) manages the club website and has the right of final approval on ALL matters pertaining to the Skye Rangers. The minimum Rank for this Position is General (GEN).
The SFC can also appoint a SFC Command Attache (SFC:A) who assists primarily with recruiting/marshaling functions, maintenance of unit communications, administrative functions, etc. The minimum Rank for this Position is Leutnant-General (LT-GEN).
Executive Officer (XO): The Executive Officer (XO) has supervisory authority over all of the Mechwarriors and his commands carry the weight of the Skye Front Commander (SFC). One of the XO's office primary responsibilities is management of the Regiments and review/appointment of RCOMs. The XO is the designated Second in Command of the Skye Rangers. The minimum Rank for this Position is Kommandant-General (KM-GEN).
The XO can also appoint an Executive Officer Attache (XO:A) who assists
primarily with the coordination of the Regiments and keeping the Skye March's 'Mechwarriors logistically supplied. The minimum Rank for this Position is Colonel (COL).
Tactical Officer (TAC): The Tactical Officer (TAC) is responsible for the organization/management of online league and MWO - Community Warfare (CW) play for the Skye Rangers. This includes ALL strategic unit/clan administration, Mech purchasing, Mercenary relations, League Automation management, managing our battles and force assignments in CW, selecting target planets, etc. The minimum Rank for this Position is Leutnant-General (LT-GEN).
The TAC can also appoint a TAC Attache (TAC:A) who assists with with the online leagues and tournaments. The minimum Rank for this Position is Kommandant (KM).
Master at Arms (MAA): The Master at Arms (MaA) is responsible for all Mechwarrior training and recruiting operations. This includes mentoring new recruits in the 22nd Skye Rangers to become active Mechwarriors in a Line Regiment. The MaA also reviews and advises on online strategies, tips, etc. to keep our troops current and combat proficient. The minimum Rank for this Position is Senior Sergeant Major
(SenSGM) for non-commissioned officers or Leutnant-General (LT-GEN) for commissioned officers.
The MaA can also appoint a MaA Attache (MaA:A) who assists with recruiting and training . The minimum Rank for this Position is Kommandant (KM).
Communications Officer (COMM): The Communications Officer (COMM) is the Skye Brigade's Comstar Liaison. The COMM is in responsible charge of the HPG Hyperlinks in the Skye March and ensures their smooth and continuous operation. Loss of such interplanetary comms in the midst of war would be catastrophic to the brigade. The COMM is also resonpisble for maintaining inter-unit communications and the Brigade's VOIP server, Accordingly, the minimum Rank for this Position is Leutnant-General (LT-GEN).
The COMM can also appoint a Communications Attache (COMM:A) who is tasked with maintaining the HPG Hyperlink (voice comms) channels. The minimum Rank for this Position is Kommandant (KM).
Officer of Internal Affairs (OIA): The Officer of Internal Affairs moderates the internal forums and message boards of the Brigade. The OIA will monitor the internal comlinks of the Skye March and is authorized to maintain same in accordance with the Bylaws. The OIA is also the commander of the Mobile Field Base (MFB) unit (fiction/support). The minimum Rank for this Position is Leutnant-General (LT-GEN).
The OIA can also appoint an OIA Attache (OIA:A) who assists
primarily with the management of forums and special projects. The minimum Rank for this Position is Senior Warrant Officer (SWO).
Quartermaster (QMR): The Quartermaster manages the Brigade's Mechbay and is in charge of all research and development. the QMR also is considered the lead Skye Liaison on Hesperus II where he oversees conceptual planning and testing of new 'Mech designs to be considered for use in the Skye Rangers. Also, the QMR manages the Brigade Tactics Center. The minimum Rank for this Position is Leutnant-General (LT-GEN).
The QMR can also appoint a QMR Attache (QMR:A) who assists
primarily with the management of the MechBay and special projects. The minimum Rank for this Position is Kommandant (KM).
Intelligence Officer (IO): The Intelligence Officer (IO) is the Skye Command representative who manages the Military Intelligence Division (MID) in the Skye March. MID's function is to gather information about the enemy ranging from troop strength to
knowledge of the personal quirks of enemy commanders to evaluation of
the expertise of enemy technicians. The minimum Rank for this Position is Leutnant-General (LT-GEN).
The IO can also appoint an IO Attache (IO:A) who assists
primarily with the administrative command and coordination of the Military intelligence Division (MID). The minimum Rank for this Position is Kommandant (KM).
Ambassador (AMB): An Ambassador (AMB) Position is reserved for diplomats from various other Units and Houses in the Inner Sphere. AMBs often serve in the Ambassador Corps, stay in the 22nd Skye Rangers or in the Dropship Reserves during their tenure in the Skye March. Pending Skye Front Command's approval, the Ambassador (AMB) is often given a rank in the Skye Rangers. There is no minimum Rank for this Position.
Regiment Commander (RCOM): Each Regiment Commander (RCOM) is responsible for overall command of their respective Regiment. This includes checking for AWOL status, submitting weekly Regiment reports, verifying availability of their troops for online league play and providing regular unit updates to the SFC and TAC. The minimum Rank for RCOM is typically Colonel (COL), although in rare circumstances, a Leutnant-Colonel (LT-COL) may be appointed as a RCOM.
Battalion Commander (BCOM): A Battalion Commander (BCOM) has command responsibility for a battalion of 36 Mechs. The minimum Rank for BCOM is typically Kommandant (KM).
Company Commander (CCOM): A Company Commander (CCOM) has command responsibility for a company of 12 mechs. The minimum rank for a CCOM is typically Hauptmann (HPT).
Lance Commander (LCOM): Typically the highest ranked Mechwarrior in each lance of 4 Mechs is assigned as the Lance Commander (LCOM). The minimum Rank for LCOM is typically Sergeant (SG) or First Leutnant (LT1).
Mechwarrior (MW): The "rank and file" of LAAF troops. Each Mechwarrior (MW) commands one Mech. The minimum rank for MW is typically Private First Class (PFC). Upon reaching the position of MW, the individual is approved/certified to represent the Skye Rangers in online combat.
Cadet (CDT): The raw recruit begins at this position. Typically, a beginning Mechwarrior will start off at the rank of Private (PRV) until scoring their first confirmed kill.
ID Lines will serve to standardize communications within the Regiments and quickly allow identification of the position, rank, name, unit, Preferred Mech, Medals and Noble Patents for each Mechwarrior. This "ID Line" should be used in all official Skye Rangers communications.

Please note that if your unit has a unit citation/award, Mechwarriors of the unit are allowed to display the same in their ID Line.
Adding Noble Patents:
Noble titles are added to the ID Line (if desired) right before the Rank and Name of the Mechwarrior. For example:
SFC/Margrave GEN Arturus Steiner/Command/Kodiak
However, please note that displaying one's Noble Title is at the discretion of the individual Mechwarrior. For example, Citizens rarely denote this in their ID Line, generally preferring to wait until Knight is attained.
