Fellow Mechwarriors,

While I have not yet tested this new Enjin feature, it seems to show promise. It is an in game mini-program which would allow the user to integrate various supported games w/out alt-tabbing out of the game to say access the website events calendar, a user profile, roster, etc.

In reviewing the ~11 pages of comments, while there appears to be some general bugginess with the new module roll-out, some loss of FPS in game when recording video and difficulties assigning save paths for videos, it also has many good reviews.  While we won't see much use of this until MWO launches, if anyone with a decent rig wants to give it a shot on some other supported games, and let us know how it works (i.e., may be a huge help organizing drops in MWO !), here's the link to download the client:

the linked forum thread highlights games supported...good hunting! ...
Guillocuda I might give this a try while in MWLL..if Crysis Wars is supported, that is.
Thanks to those that provided suggestions and voted for the "Name the SR MWO Unit" Forum Thread.  Using this site's Enjin roster system, I have created a new "Team" for the MWO game through the website for those of us who plan on playing MWO.  Our Team Name will be "Skye's Own" since we will not be able to use a canon-themed unit name in game for IP reasons.  You will also note a mirror of our overall Brigade Roster for just the MWO Team Characters under a new top menu tab named "MWO Teams".

I sent out an auto-notice to everyone to create a Character for the new Skye's Own MWO Team.  In order to create a Character to be able to join the new team:

  • Click on your name/avatar and then the Characters Tab at the top
  • Add a new character (for the "Mechwarrior Online game"(NOT the custom one which is for the general roster only)
  • Name the new Character the same as your main SR name (for convenience)
  • Upload an Avatar/Pic of your own choosing
  • Assign it level 1 (since the game is not live yet)
  • Assign a 'Mech class (i.e., Assault, Heavy, Medium, or Light)
  • If you prefer, put in your SR ID-Line under the Description
  • Save your new Character and I will assign to the Skye's Own MWO Team!

You can also edit the character later with the editing tool icon on far right of the character tab screen.

I will adjust the column headings once we get closer to launch and we will know how the game will actually track progress in-game. Also, since we don't know how ranks and awards will be tracked in game, your SR ranks, medals, etc will only appear in the main roster (and your website profile) and not on the MWO Team roster.

We can also alter/revise the name of the team later on as the game gets closer to launch too...

If you have any questions or have any problems, give me a shout!

Enjoy! .../Salute

"Piranha Games has spent the last few weeks inundating us with information on the various gameplay mechanics and customization options that players can expect from its upcoming free-to-play 'bot-battling title, MechWarrior Online, but today the studio has unleashed a deluge of screenshots and a new video that shows what the game's really about: big robots and even bigger explosions. Also, lots of lasers. Pew pew!..."
