Always there has to be a 'Mech hiding at a corner, huh? They shut down and use passive sensors, waiting for you in that little corner!
Read on to find out how to fight campers.
Fight Campers (Anti-Camper)

Play clan battles in OPEN terrains where there are rarely any buildings, e.g. deserts. |

Try to not play in terrains where there are mountains where mechs can hide. |
|
Always keep on those radars and be in groups of at least 2 in order to avoid a surprise attack, and being able to strike back at a camper. |
|
Campers usually like to hide at places you expect them least, e.g. dark places, behind/in buildings. |
|
Campers will surely use passive sensors, or even shutdown in order to avoid being detected at all. |
If you get into a fight with a camper, here are things you can do if you are in a field with buildings and tons of trees.

Use the buildings to your advantage and circle around the enemy, making him run behind you for hours until he gets tired since he can't shoot through the buildings! Good for urban maps! ;) |

Jump jets can be useful, depending on building heights. Use jump jets to escape campers and run for an open field where they usually don't like to be. |

Make them use radars, instead of passive sensors by luring them into open field and increasing your range from them so they have a hard time in finding you. |
|
Passive sensors can detect things from about 250 meters, so always be prepared for the next 250 meters of action. |
|
Passive sensors will prevent from missiles such as LRM's to use lock-on, so beware that the enemy will go for beam weapons and ballistic weapons. Use this to your advantage by using your rockets on the enemy, making him turn on his radar and revealing his position to your team mates. |
Have a building always next to you or in front of you to protect yourself.
If you do get into any fighting, break off the attack immediately and seek cover by the nearest corners and buildings.
Try to lure your enemy on to the open field and make use of all your weapons against him as soon as he comes out.
Then you go and play mouse and cat, making him run after you while you shoot at him at the last second you turn around buildings.
